Mega star Madonna speaks for the first time after the collapse

It was a shock for all fans of the pop star: Madonna suffered from depression and had to spend several days in intensive care. Now she is giving an update herself.

In late June, disturbing news about music star Madonna made the rounds: the 64-year-old was found unconscious in her apartment and taken to a hospital in New York.

Her manager Guy Oseary said in a statement that the singer had “developed a serious bacterial infection”. She had to be treated in intensive care for several days. Meanwhile, Madonna is back home. She is expected to make a full recovery. Now she is going public for the first time and talking about her condition.

“When I woke up in the hospital, my first thought was for my children,” she wrote in an Instagram post. The 64-year-old confirms she is on the mend and is now focused on her full recovery and comeback. She also thanks the fans for their sympathy: “I felt your love”.

So it should continue with Madonna’s tour

Due to health concerns, the start of Madonna’s world tour, which was originally scheduled to begin in Canada on July 15, had to be postponed. She also talks about it in the post: “My second thought was that I didn’t want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. And I wanted the people who have worked tirelessly with me for the past few months to bring my show to the To put your feet in the air, don’t let them fall.”

But there are already thoughts on how the tour should continue: “The current plan is to move the North American leg of the tour and start in Europe in October,” Madonna announces.
