SIKA SALES SELECTED PORTIONS OF MBCC GROUP’S ADDITIVES BUSINESS TO INEOS ENTERPRISES

  • Sika AG and INEOS Enterprises have reached an agreement to acquire the MBCC Group’s admixtures business in the US, Canada, Europe and the UK, as well as all of its businesses in Australia and New Zealand
  • The sale is an important step for Sika in completing the acquisition of MBCC Group
  • Sika confirms the synergy potential of CHF 160 to 180 million after the closing expected for the first half of 2023

Sika AG and INEOS Enterprises, a subsidiary of INEOS, have signed an agreement allowing INEOS Enterprises to acquire MBCC Group’s admixtures business in the US, Canada, Europe and the UK, as well as all its operations in Australia and New Zealand. Zeeland (“assignment scope”) . The divestment is part of the process required for Sika to acquire MBCC Group. The divestiture scope achieved net sales of approximately CHF 920 million at the end of 2022 and includes production and sales sites in 36 countries with more than 1,600 employees.
