The 21-year-old German-Finnish will wear the Huskies jersey until at least 2024

ice Hockey Alec Ahlroth will stay with the Kassel Huskies. Ahlroth was born in Wilhelmshaven, but learned to play ice hockey in his native Finland. He was able to gain more experience in Canada, where he was successfully active in the U18 junior division of Rothesay Netherwood School for two years.

In 2020 he moved to Germany, where he played for ECDC Memmingen in the Oberliga Süd for two years. There he reached the final with the team last season and was named “Rookie of the Year”.

The 21-year-old easily ranked in Germany’s second-highest ice hockey league, having collected 27 points (11 goals) in 32 games this season.
