Madonna sparks controversy with new photo – “Ridiculous”

After the collapse of the rise? Madonna posts a photo and leaves fans irritated. Is the “Queen of Pop” hiding her health?

Pop star Madonna doesn’t believe in aging. The 64-year-old has been repeatedly criticized for her heavily retouched photos and cosmetic surgeries. But away from Instagram, she appears to be struggling with serious health issues. Because only a few weeks ago she was found unconscious and had to be treated in intensive care in hospital. In the meantime, she has been discharged from hospital again – and is now confusing her fans with an Instagram post.

In the photo, Madonna hugs a large bouquet of pink roses. She almost looks like a girl. Her hair is braided, her face appears without wrinkles. She writes: “A single rose can be my garden, a single friend my world.” She completes the saying with a heart and rose emoji and adds the words “Thank you”. It’s unclear who the singer is thanking here.

Between wishes for recovery and criticism

Her 19 million followers take the photo with mixed feelings. “Wonderful! Get well soon and get well! We’ll see you soon!” wrote one fan optimistically below the post. Another added: “Glad to see your health is your top priority.”

However, not everyone can agree with the latter. “How many filters does it take to look like a 12-year-old?” asks a stunned follower. Another criticized: “She looks like a 17 year old kid, it’s ridiculous!”

Serious bacterial infection

Filter or not – loyal fans have long been worried about the health of their idol. It was announced on June 28 that Madonna had been found unconscious days earlier and taken to a hospital in New York, where she was intubated in the intensive care unit. Her manager shared via Instagram that Madonna had “developed a serious bacterial infection which caused her to be in intensive care for several days.”

She was spotted taking a walk in New York City on Sunday, July 9, according to Page Six. Shortly after, the “queen of pop” expressed herself on Instagram. She is “on the mend” and is now focused on her health. “And I can assure you that I will be with you as soon as possible!” She actually wanted to start her “Celebration” tour on July 15 in Canada. However, the North American concerts would be postponed and the tour is now set to kick off in Europe in October.
