Ice Hockey World Championship 2023 live today: Slovenia

It all starts again on Sunday: The first of six matches starts at 11:20 a.m., the last one starts at 7:20 p.m. The best entertainment is therefore guaranteed throughout the day.

Initially, Group A fans can look forward to the duel between the United States and Hungary. Hungary were promoted and lost 3-1 to Denmark in the opening game. The United States, on the other hand, are among the big favorites and won 4-1 against Finland at the start.

At the same time, group B starts at 11:20 am with the duel between Slovenia and Canada. Slovenia is the second climber and the clear underdog against the top ice hockey nation. A European victory would cause a stir.

It continues at 3:20 p.m. France and Denmark face each other in Group A. Both have won their first game. Another victory would be a big step towards the quarter-finals.

In Group B, Norway are already under pressure. The Scandinavians surprisingly lost 3:4 against Kazakhstan and now have to stop Switzerland. However, the Confederates shone in the first match with a 7-0 victory over Slovenia.

In the evening, the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan face off. In Group A, both teams have the best chance of reaching the quarter-finals after a win at the start. Who stands out from the competition?

And in Group B, the last game starts at 7:20 p.m. Austria is clearly an outsider against Sweden.
